Overview Join our culinary team as a Line Cook and bring your passion for food and excellence to the heart of our kitchen! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision, adhering to safety standards, and supporting the overall flow of kitchen operations where quality and quickness go hand in hand. Your culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, slicers, and fryers safely and efficiently Follow food safety protocols including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations Assist in meal preparation and plating to ensure timely service during busy periods Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing routines Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and address any issues promptly Support menu planning efforts by providing feedback on recipes and ingredient quality when needed Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and correctly Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across the kitchen staff Culinary experience including food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly is essential Knowledge of catering processes and menu planning enhances your suitability for this role
