Job Description The Green Deli & Juice Bar is looking for a dependable Kitchen Cook to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing fresh food, staying busy, and working as part of a small, hands-on team. Our kitchen prepares the food that goes directly to our deli customers, so consistency, speed, cleanliness, and attention to detail are very important. You will help with daily food preparation and cooking, keep the kitchen stocked and organized, and make sure orders are prepared according to our recipes and quality standards. Starting as part-time but full time hours may be available in the future.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do Prepare ingredients each day for deli and kitchen service Cook and assemble hot food orders Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other deli menu items Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and preparation procedures. Set up the kitchen and prep station before service. Keep ingredients organized, labeled, and properly stored. Restock the kitchen throughout the day. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area. Follow food safety and sanitation requirements. Help with inventory and communicate when supplies are running low. Work efficiently during busy periods. Help keep food quality and presentation consistent.
