In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and commitment to safety standards will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Prepare ingredients and prepare menu items according to standardized recipes and quality specifications Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure freshness and variety Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and mixers Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth service flow Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold hygiene and safety regulations Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food as needed Requirements Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required Proven food industry or restaurant experience demonstrating knowledge of food preparation and safety practices Strong knife skills with proper slicing techniques for efficient ingredient prep Familiarity with food safety management systems and adherence to safety standards in production environments Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members Knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and responsibly Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Catering experience is a plus, along with a passion for culinary arts and food presentation Join us in creating delicious meals while ensuring the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
