The Salisbury School, a prestigious private boarding school in northwestern Connecticut is seeking an experienced, dependable Cook to join our private school food service team. This position supports meals for students and staff while working in both the main kitchen and our café.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items
• Operate grill and other commercial kitchen equipment
• Follow recipes and food safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking or restaurant experience required
• Short-order cooking experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Reliability, creativity, motivation, and initiative are required and will work closely with the Cafe manager Full Time. 40 hours per week. 2pm - 730pm main kitchen, 730pm - 10:30pm in the cafe Position follows school year calendar September through June.
