This is a hands-on kitchen position focused on preparing the food that keeps the shop running. We are a small bakery and prepared-food business, so we're looking for someone who can work independently, follow recipes and processes carefully, who takes pride in getting the details right. What You'll Do Each shift will have a clear production focus, generally consisting of: One drink
- preparing our house beverages One patty filling, soup or stew
- preparing fillings for our patties or a stew for lunch service Light vegetable prep
- washing, cutting, portioning and preparing vegetables as needed Set-up for the following production day
- completing prep or organizing ingredients so the next day's production is ready to go Keeping your work area clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout the shift Following recipes, production instructions, food-safety procedures and established kitchen processes Completing additional tasks assigned as needed for seamless operations What We're Looking For The right person is: Reliable and dependable Comfortable working independently without constant supervision Able to follow recipes and written instructions accurately Organized and attentive to detail Comfortable working efficiently in a small commercial kitchen Able to manage their assigned production and use their time well Willing to ask questions rather than guess when something is unclear Someone who takes ownership of their work and follows tasks through to completion Able to stand on their feet for long hours Lift 50lbs Schedule & Compensation Approximately 12 hours per week $17/hour (to start, increased to $18 after successful completion of 6 month probation) Part-time Schedule will be discussed during the hiring process About Working at Likkle Patty Shop We're a small team, which means everyone's work has a direct impact on the business.
