Responsibilities Prepare food items efficiently and according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with care. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly. Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize guest satisfaction through friendly recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in training new team members on food preparation, POS operation, and customer service protocols. Support daily operations by managing inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring efficient workflow during busy hours. Experience Previous experience in a quick service or fast-food restaurant is highly desirable. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen experience in a café or retail food environment. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate sales processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and sales transactions. Experience working in the food industry or grocery store setting is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
