Duties Prepare and cook Italian dishes with an emphasis on sautéing, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate. Follow established recipes and presentation standards to deliver authentic flavors and visual appeal. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including sauté stations, grills, braising pots, and food prep tools. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety procedures and sanitizing protocols throughout all stages of food handling. Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep to support smooth kitchen operations during service. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal production in a high-volume setting. Support food safety management practices by monitoring temperature controls, food storage, and proper handling techniques. Experience Proven culinary experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments. Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and sautéing. Demonstrated proficiency in food preparation, knife skills, and operating various kitchen equipment safely. Experience with food safety sanitizing procedures and maintaining hygiene standards in a fast-paced setting. Background in menu planning, recipe adherence, meal preparation, and catering is highly desirable. Prior food industry or restaurant experience involving food handling, serving, or catering will be advantageous. Familiarity with dietary aide practices or dietary department experience is a plus for supporting diverse guest needs.
