PM Banquet /
Line Cook Job Summary:
Prepare and cook high-quality food for banquet events, buffets, and evening dining operations. Ensure all menu items are prepared according to Marriott recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines while working efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients by chopping, portioning, seasoning, and storing food. Cook menu items using grills, ovens, fryers, stoves, and other kitchen equipment. Set up and maintain banquet stations and buffet lines. Ensure food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Monitor food quality, temperature, and freshness throughout the shift. Restock food and supplies during events and service. Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, equipment, and utensils. Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies. Assist with kitchen closing duties, including cleaning and storing food properly. Work collaboratively with chefs, banquet staff, and other kitchen team members.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 1 year of cooking or line cook experience preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and PM shifts. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-50 pounds, depending on the property. Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
