Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers safely and effectively. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times. Contribute creative ideas for menu planning and special catering events. Experience Previous experience as an Italian Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and dietary aide responsibilities is beneficial. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience in catering or restaurant environments is an advantage. Proficiency with kitchen tools including knives and cooking equipment is required. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting.
