Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your culinary expertise will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled according to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment. Assist with menu planning and development of new pizza recipes to enhance the offerings. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for ordering supplies. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in food handling and preparation. Qualifications Proven experience as a cook in a fine dining or high-volume food service environment. Strong culinary skills with a focus on pizza preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Proficient knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Experience with menu planning and catering is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for creating high-quality food that delights customers.
