Overview We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Baker/Pantry Cook to join our culinary team. This role is perfect for someone with experience who loves creating baked goods and preparing delicious, fresh dishes in a lively kitchen environment. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality desserts, meal preparation, and ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, experienced in food handling, and eager to contribute to a positive dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare baked goods such as bread, pastries, and desserts following established recipes and quality standards. Assist in the preparation of cold dishes and pantry items to support daily menu offerings. Support meal preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and pantry areas, adhering to food safety guidelines. Help with food handling and storage practices to ensure freshness and prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods or special catering events. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation, handling, and sanitation. Skills Baking desserts such as Lava Cake, Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, Creme Brulee... Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are essential. Previous kitchen experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with menu planning, meal prep, and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A team-oriented attitude with good communication skills to coordinate with colleagues effectively.
