Job Summary Pizza Palace Italian Restaurant is hiring a Pizza Restaurant Cook to prepare pizzas and other menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality, kitchen cleanliness, and efficient service. This role assists with ingredient preparation, pizza assembly, cooking, order completion, and daily kitchen operations. Common Job Roles Pizza Restaurant Cook Pizza Cook Pizza Line Cook Italian Restaurant Cook Pizza Kitchen Cook Key Responsibilities Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients Assemble pizzas according to recipes and restaurant standards Cook pizzas and menu items using commercial ovens and kitchen equipment Monitor cooking temperatures, times, and food quality Prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently Portion ingredients consistently to maintain product quality Monitor ingredient freshness and proper food storage Restock ingredients, packaging, and kitchen supplies Maintain clean and organized kitchen, prep, and cooking areas Wash and sanitize cookware, utensils, equipment, and work surfaces Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties Requirements Previous pizza, Italian restaurant, cooking, food service, or kitchen experience is an asset but not required Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures Strong attention to detail and food quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads Preferred Skills Experience preparing and cooking pizzas in a commercial kitchen Familiarity with pizza ovens and kitchen equipment Knowledge of Italian-style food preparation is an asset Strong organization and time management skills Ability to multitask during busy service periods Positive attitude and willingness to learn About the Company Pizza Palace Italian Restaurant provides pizza and Italian-inspired food in a casual, customer-focused dining environment.
