COOK Automation Personnel Services is looking for a C ook for a company based in Plant City, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Pay Rate $16.00 - $17.00 per hour depending on experience. Schedule and Hours 5:00 am to 1:00 pm or 11:00 pm to 9:00 am; weekends are mandatory Cook Duties and Responsibilities Prepare foods according to established recipes and guidelines. Clean, cut, and prepare ingredients for main dishes, desserts, and appetizers. Sautee, flambe, roast, bake, grill, steam, and boil various meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other foods. Utilize knife techniques for chopping, slicing, cutting, and dicing ingredients. Accurately follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients. Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers safely and efficiently. Work across multiple production stations, ensuring quality control checks on taste, texture, and temperature. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation within the kitchen. Perform additional duties as needed, including kitchen maintenance and equipment cleaning. Cook Qualifications and Requirements Current ServSafe Food Handler Certification required. 2+ years of experience as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong culinary knife skills. Ability to follow exact measurements and recipes for food preparation. Excellent attendance and punctuality; weekends are mandatory.
