Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Follow proper procedures for storing, labeling, and rotating food items. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety. Requirements Previous experience in a culinary role or food service environment is vital. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Strong skills in food preparation techniques and meal assembly. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
