Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors. Follow food safety protocols diligently to maintain hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning routines to meet health regulations. Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy hours. Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques and knife skills such as slicing, dicing, and portioning. Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members. Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures is essential. Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in meal preparation.
