Overview Join our team as a Line Cook in a full-service restaurant (this is not compatible with strictly fast food experience) where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine. Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising units, poaching stations, and food production appliances. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-volume production meets quality standards and service deadlines. Experience Non Fast food. Previous food service experience in a professional full service restaurant setting is required; high-volume kitchen experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated skills in food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and knife skills. Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures essential for maintaining health standards. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation across diverse cuisines is advantageous. Knowledge of operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently is necessary. Background in catering or large-scale food production enhances your suitability for this role. Strong understanding of food handling regulations and the importance of consistent quality control.
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
