Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead our dynamic Front of House operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant and catering services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining operational excellence. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and optimize service quality. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the culinary experience and foster a vibrant hospitality atmosphere. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily food and beverage operations, including front-of-house service and bar operations. Train, develop, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to maximize profitability. Oversee POS system for accurate order processing and cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with health regulations, food handling protocols, and safety procedures. Ensures that servers, bartenders, and beverage cart drivers are checking ID for anyone that appears to be under 30 years of age. Ensures that staff has been properly trained in the state's alcohol training program. Self-training is expected on this matter as well. Understands and monitors daily revenues and expenses while ensuring that all customers have the best possible experience on a day-to-day basis. Coordinate shifts, scheduling staff coverage to meet clubhouse demands during peak hours and special events like banquets or catering functions. Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality excellence, and member/guest satisfaction. Conduct interviews for new hires, participate in staff training & development programs, and evaluate team performance regularly. Can perform the work of all subordinates to include beverage cart drivers and front of house staff. Works closely with the staff to include opening, closing, normal day-to-day business, as well as outings and banquets. Continuous monitoring of staff for proper procedures and control of alcohol products. Qualifications Proven management experience within the food industry, preferably in country club establishments. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Lightspeed; strong cash handling skills. Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on staff training & development in hospitality settings. Familiarity with inventory control methods and food safety regulations. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams. Experience in managing catering events or banquet services is a plus. Knowledge of bar operations is advantageous. Experience SERV Safe Certified Minimum 5 years management experience in restaurant / country club setting.
Pay:
