AM & PM Line Cooks - Tula Amrit Ocean Resort Riviera Beach, FL Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Plating Kitchen stations Full Job Description We are seeking experienced, disciplined, and creative cooks to work full-time in our serene and inspiring environment. As a member of our kitchen, you will collaborate with our visionary Executive Chef to create innovative, health-focused dishes that align with our wellness philosophy. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow in a supportive, high-end resort setting that values culinary artistry and dedication. Job Summary The Line Cook at Tula is responsible for working select stations during service in the kitchen with precision, consistency, and a commitment to Amrit's luxury standards. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, this role executes every dish to spec — on time, every time. This is a hands-on position for a cook who is ready to own a shift and develop their skills in a Forbes Five-Star aspirant environment. Responsibilities Shift Execution Coordinate kitchen station set-up and execution for service Ensure station is properly set up, prepped, and ready before service begins Manage ticket flow, expedite dishes, and maintain the pace and quality of service throughout the shift Kitchen Standards & Compliance Maintain a clean, organized, and fully compliant station always during the shift Enforce food safety and sanitation standards — temperature logs, labeling, FIFO rotation Conduct end-of-shift breakdown, cleaning, and prep setup for the following day Report any equipment issues, supply shortages, or food safety concerns to the Chef de Cuisine immediately Operational Coordination Monitor prep levels throughout the shift and direct production accordingly to prevent shortages Manage end-of-shift inventory and communicate any ordering needs to the Chef de Cuisine Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years of culinary experience in an upscale or fine dining kitchen Demonstrated ability to work kitchen station or shift independently Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, plating standards, and kitchen operations Valid Florida Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) Ability to work a consistent schedule including weekends and holidays Calm under pressure — able to work with team through high-volume dinner service with composure Preferred Previous experience in a upscale restaurant, hotel, resort, or luxury dining environment Familiarity with Forbes Five-Star or AAA Diamond service standards Ready to be part of something meaningful?
