Job Description
ResponsibilitiesPrepare ingredients and food items for daily service, including meats, vegetables, cheeses, sauces, and other ingredients.
Slice meats, cheeses, vegetables, and other products according to restaurant standards.
Prepare and assemble hot and cold subs accurately and efficiently.
Operate the grill, fryer, slicer, and other kitchen equipment safely and properly.
Cook meats, fries, and other menu items according to Jon Smith Subs standards.
Take customer orders and provide friendly, professional service.
Assist customers with menu questions and ensure orders are prepared correctly.
Package dine-in and takeout orders.
Restock ingredients, beverages, packaging, and supplies throughout the shift.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including food preparation stations, kitchen equipment, counters, dining areas, and restrooms.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures at all times.
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
Work together with other team members to keep service running quickly and efficiently.
Perform other restaurant duties as needed.
