Duties Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and standards Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations Contribute to catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery Serve as a team player by supporting other kitchen staff and ensuring efficient workflow throughout shifts Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service with a focus on quality and safety Familiarity with food industry standards, including food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are essential for success in this role Experience with menu planning, catering, or serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and basic culinary techniques enhances your ability to excel Prior kitchen experience within the food service or hospitality industry demonstrates your commitment to culinary excellence Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us—where your skills will flourish, your efforts are valued, and every plate served reflects your dedication!
