Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a talented and experienced Cook to be part of our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen. Hotel Amalga is a small boutique hotel and Hugo is the restaurant and we are looking for someone that is driven to deliver the highest standards of food quality and presentation. The restaurant is a small operations and we are looking for someone that is talented and capable to be on his/her own to prep, cook and clean at the end. Duties Requires to work evenings, 4-10:30pm (subject to change). Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food costs and implement measures to minimize waste while maximizing quality. Oversee catering events and fine dining experiences, ensuring exceptional service delivery. It will require to breakdown the kitchen and clean everything at the end, including dishes. Experience Proven experience in a restaurant or catering environment. Strong background in kitchen, food service. Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus. Experience in fine dining settings is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with guests.
