We're looking for a skilled and motivated Cook to bring nutritious meals, positive energy, and organization to our kitchen. Compensation:
Starting at $15/hour, with pay based on experience and education
Hours:
7am - 3pm, Monday -
Friday What You'll Do:
Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks that follow approved menus and nutrition guidelines Calculate meal portions and ensure timely delivery to classrooms Collect and properly dispose of used trays and food waste Maintain weekly inventory and communicate supply needs to the Director Place and verify food and supply orders from approved vendors while staying within budget Ensure all health, sanitation, safety, and licensing standards are consistently met Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently Participate in team meetings, trainings, and special academy events as needed Be flexible and assist with temporary assignments when required
What We're Looking For:
1-2 years of professional cooking or food service experience (childcare or institutional setting preferred) Valid Food Handler's Certification Knowledge of state and local health and safety regulations Ability to thrive in a busy, structured kitchen environment A team player with strong organization and time-management skills
Education:
High School Diploma required Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is a plus Apply today!
