Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience in casual or fine dining or restaurant environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic kitchen, ensuring high-quality meal service and exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food handling and sanitation procedures Ensure all food is prepared safely following food safety guidelines Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling protocols Set up stations with necessary ingredients and utensils for meal service Serve dishes promptly and professionally during service hours Support team members in maintaining efficient kitchen operations Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments Service window, and sauté station experience preferred, but it is not required Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety and sanitation practices Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation Availability to work weekends is required This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional kitchen environment.
