Responsibilities:
Lead and support line cooks during daily preparation, service, and closing procedures. Prepare and cook menu items according to approved recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines. Coordinate kitchen stations to ensure food is prepared accurately and served in a timely manner. Assign daily prep and production responsibilities based on service needs and business volume. Monitor food quality, taste, temperature, portion size, and presentation before items leave the kitchen. Assist with receiving, inspecting, rotating, and properly storing food and kitchen supplies. Follow proper food-handling procedures, including temperature control, labeling, dating, cooling, reheating, and storage. Maintain clean and orderly cooking stations, equipment, coolers, storage areas, and shared workspaces. Complete opening, shift-change, and closing checklists accurately. Promote teamwork and maintain respectful, professional communication with culinary, service, and management teams. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Executive Chef.Qualifications:

This position will require standing, lifting, and moving product, equipment, and food items. Food Service will consist of a hospitable and social atmosphere with food, beverage, and A+ customer service.
