Duties Assist in menu planning and meal preparation, ensuring variety and nutritional balance in all offerings Prepare food items with precision using proper knife skills and cooking techniques suited for fine dining or casual service Handle food safely by following strict hygiene protocols and proper food handling procedures Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards Support catering events by preparing and presenting food attractively for large groups Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals and uphold quality standards Experience Previous dietary department experience or dietary aide experience preferred Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service within the food industry Experience with menu planning and meal assembly in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Fine dining or catering experience is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and presentation skills Skilled in knife handling, meal preparation, and food presentation techniques Familiarity with kitchen operations in healthcare, hospitality, or similar settings is advantageous Pay is based on experience Join us to bring your culinary passion to life!
