The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation. This position requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to food safety practices. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in the planning and execution of daily menus. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Ensure all food is stored properly and adheres to food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock is low. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed. Skills Experience in food service or as a dietary aide is preferred. Proficient in food preparation techniques, including knife skills. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork in the kitchen.
