Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Weekend Cook to join our food service team at a drug and alcohol treatment center in Jonesboro, GA. The Weekend Cook is responsible for preparing nutritious, appealing meals for our residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment. Department Food & Nutrition Employment Type Part Time Location Jonesboro - GA Workplace type Onsite Compensation $20.00 - $22.00 / hour Weekend Cook Key Duties Prepares food according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals. Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlines standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items for quality control. Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintain standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food- handling procedures. Will manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director. Perform other job-related duties as they become required. Weekend Cook Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be comfortable working in a behavioral health/recovery-focused environment. ServSafe certification is a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable and able to work weekends consistently. Previous cooking or food service experience preferred. Ability to follow recipes and menus.
