$15.00 per hour Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your expertise in food preparation and safety will contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. Whether you have experience in fine dining, catering, or a dietary department, your culinary skills will be valued as we work together to create delicious meals. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in the development of new menu items and special catering requests. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Line Cook or Prep Cook. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with fine dining standards and catering operations is a plus. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
