Duties Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of meals following established recipes and menu plans Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and mixers Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly Follow food safety standards in handling, storage, and preparation to ensure compliance with health regulations Support menu planning by suggesting new dishes and ensuring ingredient availability Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and ensure timely delivery of orders Contribute to food presentation and portion control for consistent quality across all meals Experience Previous experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Proven background in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating strong culinary skills Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments Skilled in food handling, knife techniques, slicing methods, and recipe adherence Experience with meal preparation for large groups or catering events is advantageous Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional food experiences!
