PM Cook - Part Time

We are currently hiring for a Part-Time cook for our PM shift. or stop in and pick up an application and visit with our staff. We look forward to meeting you!

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus. Prepare food for therapeutic diets and/or in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders. Assure that food and supplies for the next meal are readily available. Assist in inventorying and storing food, supplies, etc., as necessary.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Be able to read, write and speak the English language in a manner that is understandable. Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities. One-year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility preferred, but not required. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning. Able to sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during working hours. Education High School Diploma/GED Experience Entry Level (0-2 years)
