Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in the food industry. As a Cook/Dishwasher, you will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and gain valuable experience in the culinary field.

Duties:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
• Ensure all food is cooked and presented in a timely manner
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
