Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this vital role, you'll be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to perfection, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. Your energy and culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in meal assembly according to menu specifications and recipes Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and ensuring consistency in dish preparation Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and measuring ingredients for service Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold quality standards during busy hours Qualifications Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurant, catering, or dietary department preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling practices Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food service operations Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills will grow, your creativity will flourish, and your contributions will be celebrated.
