Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dietary Cook to join our team. This role is essential in providing nutritious and delicious meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in dietary department or food service setting, and will be responsible for menu planning, meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of kitchen operations. Must be willing to work some weekends. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of dietary needs. Skills Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutrition principles relevant to food service. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and kitchen management. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
