Job Description
Brief:
Cooks are responsible for safely and accurately preparing menu food items in a timely manner. Cooks must adhere to recipe instructions and maintain consistency. We are looking for individuals who are able to receive direction, feedback, and corrections from Back of House leadership. Individuals must maintain a clean workspace throughout their shift and strictly adhere to food safety protocols.Compensation:

Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations Preparing and cooking ingredients according to food health and safety standards Appropriately seasoning items Adhering to company recipes and procedures Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Check quality of ingredients Actively communicating for safety and for kitchen needs Wiping, sweeping, mopping Dishwashing when neededQualifications/Skills:
Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks Able to bend, move, and lift up to 50 lbs or more Physical endurance to stand for an extended period of time Experience as a cook a plusPrimary Duties:
Proper preparation of food ingredients (cutting, chopping, slicing, dicing, etc.) Safe and proper usage of cooking equipment and appliances Checking quality of ingredients and prepared items before serving Tasting prepared items and adjusting to standard if needed Restocking reach in coolers for service Cleanliness and organization of walk in cooler Adhering to all food safety and health code standards Cleaning and sanitizing work areas Properly labeling items Following direction of BOH leadershipSecondary Duties:
Dishwashing as needed Help with cleaning projects as directed by BOH leadership Sweeping Mopping Dumping trash and recycling Cleaning trash containers when needed Occasion assistance with making plates on the service lineReports To:
