Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards Assist with meal assembly, plating, and portioning to meet presentation guidelines Support menu planning by suggesting improvements based on ingredient availability and customer preferences Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery times for smooth service Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques, including slicing, chopping, and knife skills Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles within restaurants or catering environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong understanding of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining flexibility for special requests or modifications Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry best practices Demonstrated proficiency in knife skills, slicing techniques, and food handling procedures Join us as a Line Cook and be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences through skillful preparation, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence!
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 40.0 per week
