Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our culinary team as a Bartener and Cook. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages while also creating delicious, high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste, presentation, and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for food preparation, excellent food safety practices, and a flair for engaging with customers to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new drink options and meal ideas that align with current trends and customer preferences. Cook and assemble meals with precision, adhering to recipes and portion control standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pots, poaching stations, knives, and other culinary tools. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas following food safety sanitizing procedures. Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed to prevent contamination. Participate in high-volume food production during busy service hours while maintaining quality standards. Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals or dietary-specific dishes as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and excellent customer satisfaction. Follow all food safety management protocols to uphold health standards across the kitchen and bar areas. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender or cook in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred. Experience with menu planning, food preparation, and food industry best practices is essential. Familiarity with fine dining service standards and high-volume production experience will be advantageous. Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques is required. Demonstrated skills in operating kitchen equipment safely, including grilling, braising, poaching, and knife skills are necessary. Prior dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus for handling specialized meal requests. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and presentation.
