Work Wage:
$22 an hour depending on experience Orchard View Post Acute is seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Time Cook to join our dietary team. If you take pride in preparing quality meals and enjoy working in a supportive, resident-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Overview:
As a Cook, you'll play an essential role in providing well-balanced, nutritious meals to our residents. You'll be responsible for meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing and serving meals according to planned menus and dietary needs Ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Collaborating with the dietary team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation Monitoring inventory and assisting with food orders as needed
Qualifications:
Prior cooking experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus Ability to follow recipes and accommodate special dietary requirements Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
