A cook at Zullee cooks and prepares food to health, sanitation and company standards in order to quickly and accurately fill guest's orders. This involves operating all kitchen equipment, cooking and presenting menu items according to Zullee's recipe presentation standards. We expect our cooks to lead by example, value their team members and guests, and have integrity in all interactions.Essential Functions:

Prepare batch & menu items according to company recipes & standards Accurately cut, measure and mix ingredients according company recipes & standards Read order tickets attentively to ensure special requests and dietary concerns executed according to guests needs Prepare and plate all menu items according to company recipes and presentation standards Prepare all guest orders quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality standards Operate food preparation and cooking equipment like (grills, deep fryers, flat top griddle, food processor, etc.) Use only the equipment prescribed by Zullee operating procedures for each job function Clean workstations as you go to keep a clean & tidy work environment for all Deep clean kitchen equipment and workstations as assignedSafety:
Maintain all food safety standards according to local health department guidelines Maintain all food safety temperatures according to local health department guidelines Maintain clean workstations to prevent cross contamination Communicate any food, equipment, sanitation concerns toGeneral Manager or Assistant Manager Communication:
Maintain a positive attitude to focus on promoting a friendly positive environment for guests and teammates alike. Inform the General Manager of any concerns you may have regarding safety, procedures, conflicts with teammates, or any concerns at all. Participate in daily pre-shift meeting with other team members and managementAdditional Job Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years old Must possess a valid Washington State Food Handler's Permit Knowledge of or ability to learn standard measurements and simple math for recipe preparation Able to work in diverse groups Ability learn quickly and ask questions Be a team player and treat others with courtesy, respect and care Poses a high level of integrity and work ethic Must be on-time and responsible for all scheduled shifts Ability to work flexible hours to operate the restaurant effectively, including morning, nights and weekends.Physical Standards:
This position requires the ability to work approximately 20-40 hours a week, 6-8 hours daily, most time spent on feet. While performing the duties of this position the team member is required to stand and walk continuously for the most of their shift hours excluding breaks. Team member will continuously perform hand and wrist work including grasping. Team member will frequently bend and twist. Team member will occasionally push and pull, do fine hand manipulation, reach above the shoulder and kneel or squat. The position seldom requires climb/stairs. Team member will continuously lift or carry 0-10 pounds; frequently lift or carry 11-15 pounds and occasionally lift 15-50 pounds.Benefits
