This position focuses on organized food preparation, ingredient quality, sanitation, and supporting the pizza team during busy service. Responsibilities Prepare vegetables, meats, cheeses, sauces, and pizza toppings. Portion ingredients according to established recipes and standards. Prepare and organize dough and other pizza components as assigned. Keep the pizza preparation station stocked throughout service. Label, date, store, and rotate prepared ingredients properly. Assist pizza makers and cooks with daily kitchen preparation. Maintain clean cutting boards, counters, tools, and preparation equipment. Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures at all times. Check ingredients for freshness and proper quality. Help receive and organize food deliveries when needed. Minimize food waste through accurate preparation and portioning. Assist with closing and cleaning duties after service. Qualifications Previous prep-cook, pizza, or restaurant kitchen experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling. Able to work quickly and accurately in a busy kitchen. Strong organization and attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working with a team. Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen lifting. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
