Job Description
Wandering Kitchens is currently seeking a part-time prep cook to work in our commissary kitchen. At least one year experience in a commercial kitchen is required. Shifts are three days between Tuesday and Saturday, this is flexible, starting at 9am. Hours are in the area 12-15/week. Duties will require slicing and dicing, making sauces, cleaning, washing dishes, and regularly lifting 40-50lbs. The atmosphere is welcoming and low-stress, but we like to keep a steady pace. You will usually be working alone or with one other person. This is a great job for someone who likes to work alone, listening to music podcasts etc. We are closed three weeks around Christmas as well as Thanksgiving week and the week of Spring break (University of Idaho). We offer regular raises and room for advancement.
