Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned) Assist in preparation and cooking meals in compliance with the 6-week cycle menu and other applicable local, state, and federal standards. Assist in ensuring compliance with food preparation and applicable sanitation standards and state regulations. Assist in maintaining all food item receipts, menu production records and meal counts. Knowledge and ability to safely operate kitchen and food preparation equipment and tools. Assist with local food purchases. Assist in maintaining and ensuring adequate inventory of kitchen supplies, food, and equipment. Ability to measure ingredients, follow recipes, and perform basic mathematical functions. Follow dietary guidelines and individualized meal plans. Assist with food delivery to classrooms. Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety practices. Required Physical Demands Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl; to reach with hands and arms; to climb or balance; and smell. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment Exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical shock, and fumes or airborne particles; exposed to hazards of traffic; the noise level is usually moderate.
