In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and ensuring every plate meets our high standards of flavor and presentation. Your energy and culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise in a fast-paced, supportive environment committed to excellence and teamwork. Duties Prepare and portion ingredients according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling components for various menu items Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently cooking and plating dishes Maintain organization of the prep station, ensuring all tools and ingredients are stocked and properly stored Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold excellent food service standards Skills Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation standards Strong culinary skills including knife proficiency, cooking techniques, and meal preparation expertise Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices within the food industry or restaurant environment Experience in food service, catering, or restaurant settings that showcase your ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent food industry knowledge with an understanding of menu planning and food presentation Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and serve guests professionally Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
