Turf is looking for a dependable, hard-working addition to our kitchen team. Our kitchen handles a little bit of everything: restaurant service, catering, banquets, meal prep, special events, and more. That means we're looking for someone who can work efficiently, stay organized, and be part of a team that takes pride in putting out great food. What You'll Do Assist with daily food prep and restaurant service Prepare menu items according to Turf recipes and standards Assist with catering and banquet prep as needed Portion, package, label, and organize prepared foods Maintain clean and organized prep, cooking, storage, and dish areas Follow proper food handling, sanitation, rotation, and storage procedures Restock and prepare stations for upcoming service Help receive and put away deliveries Communicate with kitchen leadership about prep needs, shortages, and priorities Jump in where needed during busy service, catering, and event days We're Looking For Someone Who Is dependable and shows up ready to work Works with urgency without sacrificing quality Notices what needs to be done and takes initiative Can follow recipes, directions, portion standards, and systems consistently Keeps their workspace clean and organized Works well independently and as part of a team Can handle a fast-paced environment and changing priorities Takes pride in the food leaving our kitchen Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Schedule:

Includes a combination of weekdays, evenings, and weekends based on business needs.

Pay:

Based on experience and availability. Turf is a locally owned restaurant and catering company serving Breese and the surrounding communities. We take our food seriously, make a whole lot from scratch, and believe the details matter.

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 40.0 per week
