National Star Services, a trusted facility management company with over 28 years of nationwide success, is currently hiring Cooks for our location in Des Plaines, IL 60018. What You'll Do As a Cook, you will play a key role in food preparation and production while ensuring quality, consistency, and food safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food in large quantities following standardized recipes Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion standards are met Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment Assist with inventory management and waste reduction efforts Keep workstations clean, organized, and production-ready Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals

Shift:

10:00 AM - 7:30

PM Days:

Monday through Sunday (Two days off per week; schedule provided by supervisor)

Hourly Pay:

$18.55/hr. (BIWEEKLY PAY)

Requirements:

Two valid forms of ID. Bilingual (English & Spanish) Previous cooking experience required Must have and wear slip-resistant shoes Reliable transportation to get to and from work Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Available to start working immediately
