Job Description

Responsibilities:
Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings. Smiles, provides exceptional customer service, and always treats guests and coworkers with respect. Effectively communicates with front of house and back of house team members. Strong organizational skill, works clean, and in a safe and sanitary manner at all times. Follows recipes and internal standards to produce batch recipes and menu items for service. Properly operates, cleans, and maintains kitchen equipment to ensure longevity and desired results are achieved. Sets and keeps workstation and the surrounding areas properly stocked, clean, safe, and organized. Knowledgeable in the products the company serves. Knows and complies with all rules, regulations, and policies of the culinary department, company, and state/ local laws. Follows the company's attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations set forth in the handbook. Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the departmental leaders. Must abide by all health department rules/regulations. Understands time and temperature controls and has a working knowledge of food safety. Communicates all guest service opportunities, quality issues, and product shortages to management. Must proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources. Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party. Ensure customer service standards are met and retained. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1 year Cook experience in a fast-paced environment, required Food Handler Certification, required High School Diploma/GED, required Must have basic mathematical skills Must be 21 years of age or older Hep A vaccination on, or before, first day of work Must be able to work Weekends, Nights and Holidays Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written
WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL EFFORTS
The hospitality industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation. This position will primarily be indoor under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates
Frequent:
standing, walking, with repetitive movement of fingers, legs, arms, and hands
Occasional:
kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 50 pounds Speech and Vision abilities are required
