Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poachers, braising pans, and food production stations Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to ensure a clean and safe work environment Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for various service periods, including catering events if applicable Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling techniques and recipe adherence to maintain quality and consistency Support high-volume food production while maintaining attention to detail and speed during busy hours Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Demonstrated culinary experience with skills in grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills and knowledge of food safety management practices are essential Experience with food industry standards related to food handling, sanitizing procedures, and high-volume production is advantageous Previous fine dining or catering experience can enhance your ability to excel in this role Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining efficiency under pressure Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
