Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools. Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on ingredient availability and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas in compliance with food safety standards. Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques, adhering to hygiene protocols, and preventing cross-contamination. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or food service environments. Experience operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools safely. Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is preferred but not required; familiarity with dietary restrictions is a plus.
