In this vital role, you will assist in preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your culinary skills and passion for food service will contribute to a positive dining experience and support the overall success of our kitchen operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and menu specifications Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling salads, garnishes, and side dishes Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Support the cooking team by handling basic cooking tasks under supervision, including frying, baking, or sautéing as needed Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene throughout all stages of meal prep Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies Help with dishwashing and sanitation duties to uphold a clean kitchen environment Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required Experience working in food service, restaurant, or food industry environments is highly valued Demonstrated skills in food preparation, knife handling, and meal assembly Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately Basic understanding of menu planning and catering operations is a plus Join us as a Prep Cook and be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
