Are you passionate about cooking and making a difference in the lives of others? Allure of Mount Carroll is looking for a dependable and caring Full-Time Dietary Cook to join our Dietary Team! Our residents look forward to mealtime every day, and our Cooks play an important role in preparing nutritious, delicious meals and creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. What You'll Do Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and resident-specific dietary requirements. Follow physician-ordered diets and established meal plans. Ensure food is prepared, handled, stored, and served safely. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. Assist with kitchen cleaning and daily dietary duties. Work closely with the Dietary and Nursing Teams to meet our residents' needs. Help create a positive and enjoyable mealtime experience for our residents. What We're Looking For Previous cooking experience preferred. Healthcare or long-term care dietary experience is a plus. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
