Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Execute food preparation tasks efficiently, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools to meet food safety standards Assist with meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation quality aligns with restaurant standards Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and hygiene throughout the cooking process Support catering events by preparing large quantities of menu items while adhering to recipe guidelines Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on food preparation and cooking Excellent knife skills with precise slicing techniques for various ingredients Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal preparation Familiarity with safety standards in food production and food safety management practices Effective communication skills to coordinate smoothly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, cleaning protocols, and food industry regulations Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
